Toye Mosley

Paralegal

Ms. Mosley, a native of Shreveport, Louisiana, joined the Harper Law Firm in February of 2018 with over 8 years of litigation estate planning, and probate law experience as a paralegal. She is currently working at the Harper Law Firm assisting attorneys and working independently with document, deposition and trial preparation, and maintaining a close contact with clients to ensure that the client is cognizant of the status of their case.

Prior to joining the Harper Law Firm, Ms. Mosley was a Senior Paralegal and Billing Assistant at a local law firm for almost 8 years, where she served as the right-hand woman to the Senior Partner and his associate. Ms. Mosley was the in-house interpreter for the firm, communicating with the deaf, hard-of-hearing and Spanish-speaking clientele. She is working towards becoming a certified interpreter and expanding her knowledge base of business law and commercial litigation, the heart of the Harper Law Firm business.

Ms. Mosley attended McNeese State University where she served as an Ambassador for the university and Editor-in-Chief of the school’s yearbook, all while pursuing a B.S. in Political Science with a minor in English. She is a Louisiana Notary Public and a member of the National Notary Association and the Louisiana Notary Association. Outside of the legal community, she is an avid volunteer in her local community. She is also a proud volunteer with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), where she gathers information and documents, writes court reports, monitors case plans and court orders, and appears in court in order to advocate for abused or neglected children.
