Anne Elizabeth Wilkes was born in Toledo, Ohio. She attended Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Politics in 2012. In 2015, Ms. Wilkes graduated from Washington and Lee University School of Law, cum laude.
In 2013, Ms. Wilkes was the runner-up for Best Brief Writer in the John W. Davis Moot Court Competition and won Best Brief Writer in that competition in 2014. Ms. Wilkes also served as the brief writer for the ABA Law Student Division National Appellate Advocacy Competition team.
Ms. Wilkes joined our firm in 2017 after clerking at the Louisiana Second Circuit Court of Appeal.
Ms. Wilkes is dedicated to zealously representing her clients, while maintaining a strong, professional relationship with the courts and opposing counsel.
